I recently got to attend my first track day event, as well as my first vintage car event. It was so much fun to watch, but it was even more fun getting to practice some panning shots with these beautiful machines.

Same kit as always: A7RV with the Sigma 24-70mm + Sony 70-200mm GMM OSS II. There were a couple mono XPAN emulations that were taken with my A7Rii as well with an old Minolta lens, but it didn’t get much action unfortunately.

Wagens and Water

This was my first large car show, but will not be my last. It was fun to get to take my time with the subjects and practice some exposure bracketing. The location was perfect as well, complete with picturesque landscapes and vibrant greenery all around. All around just a great event.

Kits today were the Sony A7RV + 24-70mm Sigma and a Sony A7Rii + Minolta MD 50mm (adapted to E mount) with various glass color filters for the wider, XPAN style shots.
